All services will run a normal Saturday timetable in Galway.

Sunday 23 December

All services will run a normal Sunday timetable in Galway.

Monday 24 December 

City Buses

• Bus Éireann will run a regular Monday service in Galway City, until:
• Route 401:
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Salthill at 8:59pm
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Parkmore at 8:59pm
  Last bus from Salthill to Eyre Square at 9pm
  Last bus from Parkmore to Eyre Square at 9pm
• Route 402:
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Seacrest at 8:22pm
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Merlin Park at 8:26pm
  Last bus from either end of the route  (Merlin Park and Seacrest ) to Eyre Square at 9pm.
• Route 404: 
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Newcastle / Westside at 8:42pm
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Oranmore at 8:59pm
  Last bus from either end of the route  (Newcastle and Oranmore ) to Eyre Square at 8:40pm
• 405: 
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Ballybane at 8:39pm
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Rahoon (Gort na Bro) at 8:41pm
  Last bus from either end of the route  (Ballybane and Rahoon) to Eyre Square at 9pm
• 407: 
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Bóthar an Chóiste at 8:15pm
  Last bus from Bóthar an Chóiste  to Eyre Square 8:45 pm.
• 409: 
  Last bus from Eyre Square to Parkmore at 9pm.
  Last bus from Parkmore to Eyre Square at 9pm.

• CityDirect:   
• Routes 411, 412 and 414:  Saturday timetable until the last bus from Eyre Square at 6:15pm.
• Route 410: no service

Regional buses   

• Burkes:  last bus to Galway at 4:10pm, last bus from Galway at 5:40pm.  
• Bus Feda - reduced service (only 2 buses to Galway)
• Bus4U - regular weekday service, except the early bus (6am from Roscommon, 7:45am from Galway) won't run
• BusLink: no announcement has been made as yet.   Based on last year, it's likely that the last bus to Galway at 2pm, last bus from Galway at 4pm.  Nitelink buses will not operate
• Healy Bus - last bus from Loughrea at 2pm, last bus from Galway at 5:10pm
• LocalLink - normal services, but the office is closed

• Bus Eireann will run regular Monday services until approx 9pm:  the last route 20 in either direction is at 8pm. 
• CityLink:   Regular services until the last bus from Galway-Dublin-Dublin Airport at 7:15pm.
• GoBus:   Regular services until the last bus from Galway at 3:45pm.   Regular buses from Dublin to Galway until 6:45pm, and then a last bus at 9pm.

Trains

• Sunday timetable, except:
  5pm Galway/Heuston  and 8:30pm  Heuston/Galway and are cancelled.
  6.15pm Limerick/Galway delayed until 6:25pm
  A 5pm Galway/Athlone train will run.

Tuesday 25 December - Christmas Day

• The 12:30am Citylink bus from Dublin Airport to Galway will run
• All other services - trains and city and regional buses - are cancelled. 
• Some taxi companies will offer a limited service - but many will be closed.

Wednesday 26 December - St Steven's Day

City Buses

• Bus Eireann will run a regular Sunday service on all routes in Galway City
• CityDirect - regular Sunday service

Regional buses: 

• Burkes - limited service, no service to Headford, Dunmore or Milltown
• Bus Eireann - regular Sunday timetable, except first bus of the day is later than usual on some routes.
• Bus Feda - No service  
• Bus4U - regular Sunday services
• BusLink - no announcement has been made as yet.   Based on last year, it's likely that there will be ano announcement has been made as yet.   Based on last year, it's likely that they will run a Sunday service from 10am
• CityLink:  regular service, except the 12:30am Dublin airport to Galway coach will not run
• GoBus - slightly reduced service
• Healy Bus - no service
• LocalLink - no service

Trains

• No trains will run

Thursday 27 December

City buses

• Bus Eireann will run a regular weekday service in Galway City
• CityDirect - no service on route 410, Saturday service on all other routes plus a 7am bus from Cappagh Rd on Wed-Fri

Regional buses   

• Burkes - limited service
• Bus Eireann - weekday service on all regional routes
• Bus Feda - reduced service
• Bus4U - regular weekday service, except the early bus (6am from Roscommon, 7:45am from Galway) won't run
• BusLink - no announcement has been made as yet.   Based on last year, it's likely that there will be a weekday service from 8am.  No 6:30pm bus to Galway or 7:15pm from Galway
• CityLink:  regular service
• GoBus - slightly reduced service
• Healy Bus - no service

• Bus4U - regular weekday service, except the early bus (6am from Roscommon, 7:45am from Galway) won't run
• BusLink - no announcement has been made as yet.   Based on last year, it's likely that there will be a regular Sunday service, plus a 6:30pm bus to Galway and  7:15pm from Galway

• BusLink - no announcement has been made as yet.   Based on last year, it's likely that there will be a Sunday service
• CityLink:  regular Sunday service
• GoBus - reduced service
• Healy Bus - no service
• LocalLink - no service

Trains

• Regular Monday timetable with a number of cancellations.

Wednesday 2 January - Day after New Year's

City Buses

• Bus Eireann will run a regular weekday service in Galway City
• CityDirect - Saturday timetable for the rest of this week, plus a 7am bus from Cappagh Rd on Wed-Fri.  Return to regular weekday services from next Monday.

Regional buses   

• Burkes - regular service from today onward
• Bus Eireann - regular service on all regional routes
• Bus Feda - regular service
• Bus4U - regular service
• BusLink - no announcement has been made as yet.   Based on last year, it's likely that there will be a normal weekday service from today
• CityLink:  regular service
• GoBus - regular service
• Healy Bus - regular service
• LocalLink - normal services, but the office is closed

Trains

• A revised timetable on all routes - check their announcement for details.
