It will run daily between Friday 6 December and Tuesday 24 December, and is being operated by Callanan Coaches on behalf of Galway City Council.
Parking area and city-centre bus stop
The central city drop-off and pick-up point is the Galway Coach Station (point "S" on the regional bus stops map).
There is no specific arrangement for cars to be left at Ballybrit overnight: any cars which are left there are at the owner's risk.
Hours of operation
Buses run every 15 minutes:- Between 9:30am to 9.15pm, Monday - Saturday (last departure from Ballybrit at 9:15pm)
- Between 11am - 9:15pm on Sundays (every 30 minutes between 7pm and 9pm)
On 24 Dec, Christmas Eve, the last bus will leave the city-centre in the early evening - the exact time is to be advised, last year it was 5:30pm.
Cost
The fare is €1 each way per adult, This includes all-day parkingChildren under age 16 and pensioners (mostly likey defined as people with a Free Travel pass) are free.
Galway City daily, weekly and monthly tickets are not accepted.
Route
Buses use the most appropriate route between the race-course and the city centre - typically this makes use of bus lanes.
