Bicycles can now be pre-booked onto inter-city rail services

Irish Rail - Iarnród Éireann now allow bicycle spaces to be pre-booked on inter-city train services, for a fee of €6 per journey.

Bicycles can also be carried, for free, on off-peak commuter rail services in Dublin and Cork.
