Background:
Taxsaver is a scheme that allows companies to purchase monthly or annual public-transport tickets for their employees at a discount. The arrangement is open to any public-transport company and employers that want to participate - not just the ones affiliated to taxsaver.ie - although much of the information on the website applies to the scheme as a whole.
In all cases:
- ticket ordering is done by administrators from participating employers, and
- ticket invoicing and distribution is done by participating public-transport companies
